CRAIG MEYER MEMORIAL WALK FOR SPECIAL OLYMPICS
Who started the walk?
Stewart and Beth Ann Meyer, Jim and Jennifer Fisher, Calvin Symes, and other highway patrol members and family and
friends will be leaving for their annual walk to Stillwater, May 9, 2019. As a kick-off, they are hosting the
“13th Annual Craig Meyer Memorial Walk for Special Olympics". They would like to invite you to join them.
This walk is in memory of their son, Craig. Special Olympics was very dear to his heart.
He started volunteering with his dad when he was in 3rd grade.

You are raising donations. To whom does this money go?
All proceeds of the Craig Meyer Walk go to the Chickasha Special Olympics Team and Special Olympics Oklahoma.
Why the Special Olympics?
There is a long standing history Law Enforcement and Special Olympics. When the walk was developed it seemed the natural fit, and the monies are used right here in Oklahoma.
Why these dates?
The Craig Meyer Memorial Walk is scheduled to coincide with the Opening Ceremonies of the Special Olympics of Oklahoma Summer Games in Stillwater, OK.
If I can’t walk, but I want to participate in another way, what can I do?
The purpose of the walk is to honor Craig Meyer and to raise funds in his name to be provided to the Special Olympics of Oklahoma. You may donate to that cause by clicking Donate at the top of the page. You may purchase a 2017 Craig Meyer Memorial Walk shirt. You can also help us by linking our page to your social networking pages.
Who can participate?
All persons are welcome to participate.
Do I have to walk the entire way?
No. Participants may join any portion of the walk. Join us for a mile, or an hour.
